When to convert, and when not to
Convert AZW3 to EPUB when you want to read a Kindle book on a device or app Amazon doesn't make, like a Kobo, an Apple Books library, or another e-reader that reads EPUB natively.
If the AZW3 file is DRM protected because you bought it from the Kindle store, keep reading it in a Kindle app instead, since a converter can't unlock or convert a file it can't read.
Why not just use an online converter?
